ChairHorror writing. Scary stories. Trying to frighten your friends around the campfire so much they can’t go to sleep. Hacking the human brain so you can directly control a reader’s erectores pilorum and make their hair stand on end, or their hypothalamus so they feed suddenly cold, many miles and many years away from the moment you wrote the words. Homage to Neil Gaiman, Edgar Allen Poe, H.P.Lovecraft, Stephen King, John Wyndham and my mum who used to scare herself silly watching horror movies at night and then tell us kids the plot in the morning to deal with her fear by passing it on to us. Thanks, mum.
